Redemption Defined by Biblical Women

We live in a broken world, surrounded by people who openly choose, like biblical character Deliah, lifestyles of chaos. Still, chaos does not have to be a choice.
In the beginning, Eve created for all an alternative to solicit an authentic oneness with spirituality, Redemption. Nevertheless, her choice did not free humanity from either pain and/or suffering, instead it provides the opportunity to acquire an infrastructure identified by the Christian GriefShare program that enables an opportunity to sow seeds of life renewal. Is such a topic relevant in the 21st century? Of course, today’s woman is not all that different from her fore-sisters. Collectively all hunger for stories of women who reflect their own struggles to live with faith and hope. Based on research provided by the Women of Faith Study Bible and influenced by the Christian based program GriefShare, Wright’s art and its support booklet identifies that an authentic connection to Redemption occurs when we lean on spiritual assistance, and then sow seeds of life renewal: Faith, Hebrews 11:1, Confidence, 2 Corinthians 3:4-5, Courage, Isaiah 41:10, Memories, Philippians - 1:3, Love, Romans 8:37-39, and hope, Psalm 71:14 Resulting in a form of Redemption, as defined by featured biblical women - ‘Strength and honor are her clothing; she is confident about the future.’ Proverbs 31:25 Available in the format of an art exhibit, event speech and/or workshop, artist author lecturer Sylvia Hoehns Wright shares her lifestory and those of others inviting all to stand on a platform of Redemption. Wright launched her exhibit and support booklet, Redemption defined by biblical women during an art opening event held at Monument Heights Baptist Church (MHBC), 5716 Monument Ave. Richmond VA. Why should you and/or your community host such an event? Wright’s project does not simply represent Christianity but is relevant to all Abrahamic religions - Christianity, Judaism and Islam as well as those of other cultures and or religions. About the Artist, Author – A child of the ‘tell instead of read me a story’ era, Wright urges all to identify, record and ensure the legacies of their heritage, both community and spiritual. In her memoir style book, Eco-legacy – a millennium woman’s heritage, she shared stories of her childhood and present-day lifestyle at Hoehns Lakeview Farms located in Henrico County VA. She credits the legacy of a rural Virginia childhood and heritage of a Quaker lifestyle belief - view self as caretaker, not owner of property as the sourc of her value system and commitment to community.
